• Workers and task posters: When a task is matched, we share relevant contact information between the worker and the task poster to facilitate task completion.

• Background check providers: Worker identification information is shared with Checkr to conduct background screenings.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or when necessary to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Sensitive information such as payment details is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We maintain strict access controls ensuring only authorized personnel can access personal data on a need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within 72 hours in accordance with applicable law.

RentAHuman is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. Both task posters and workers must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
